Virginia’s Elderly Day Facility LLC was founded in May 2020 with a straightforward, unshakeable belief: senior care should never feel institutional. When owner Joyce Lane officially opened the doors in December of that year, she set out to build a daytime community where North Alabama seniors could enjoy a vibrant social life, protect their independence, and receive professional care in a setting that looks and feels like a neighborhood home.
We do not believe in crowded rooms or treating people like names on a clipboard. We believe in slow mornings with fresh coffee, genuine conversations among peers, and the daily reassurance that comes from a dedicated support system. For the seniors who spend their weekdays with us, our facility is a place to connect and thrive. For their families, it is a dependable partnership built on transparency and absolute peace of mind.

Joyce Lane is the heart of the facility. As a licensed and CPR-certified professional with years of practical experience, Joyce chose to bypass the sterile, corporate model of elder care. Instead, she established a highly personal, home-based sanctuary in Toney, Alabama, designed around the actual needs of seniors.
Joyce's work is driven by a deep, personal calling. She genuinely loves the role she plays in her clients' lives, and that dedication shows in the details. Every single day, she stands in the kitchen preparing two hot, nutritious meals from scratch, believing that good, home-cooked food is essential to a dignified life. Our facility features spacious living areas and three dedicated resting suites, ensuring that every individual has the space to socialize or relax in complete comfort.
